Description

The American Astronomical Society (AAS) has developed a markup package to assist authors in preparing manuscripts intended for submission to AAS-affiliated journals.

The Version 6 style files and documentation for authoring AAS Journal articles in LaTeX2e were first released on January 6, 2016. A list of updates and changes provided by Version 6 can be found in the AASTeX Revision History: http://journals.aas.org/authors/aastex/revisionhistory.html

This is the first GitHub release of AASTeX Version 6.0. It includes a small bug fix compared to the original tar/gz version released on January 6, 2016 at http://journals.aas.org/authors/aastex.html.
