LSST and Synergies with the VO
Description
The Large Synoptic Survey Telescope will be a 8.4m survey telescope with a 3.2 gigapixel camera. This talk provides an overview of the LSST survey and indicates how the project intends to interface with the Virtual Observatory. Key technologies being examined include the VOEvent standard, Table Access Protocol (TAP), Simple Cone Search (SCS) and Simple Image Acess protocols.
