- Recently, N. Kluge and L. Sheyko reared imagoes from larvae in Zambia and Tanzania, that allows to confirm the stage association suggested by Crass (1947) and to correct descriptions given by Crass (1947) and Lugo-Ortiz & McCafferty (1996b). Newly examined material from Zambia, Guinea and Mali includes two new species of Crassabwa, which are described below as C. ludmilae sp. n. and C. ameliae sp. n.
