Vietnam: Đồng Nai (near Cát Tiên National Park)— Maxomys surifer, Tupaia belangeri (November 2014, 4 larvae), Quảng Bình (Lệ Thủy, Lâm Thǔy, Tân Lý)— Chiromyscus langbianis, Niviventer tenaster, Berylmys berdmorei, Berylmys bowersi, Niviventer mekongis, Tupaia belangeri, Niviventer tenaster, Bandicota indica, Rattus norvegicus, Rattus type IV, Leopoldamys herberti, Dremomys rufigenis (March 2017, 210 larvae), Thừa Thiên-Huḗ (Nam Đông, Thuong Long)— Chiromyscus chiropus (December 2019, 1 larva).

Distribution. Vietnam: Lâm Đồng (Bảo Lộc (=Blao), October 1960)— Tupaia sp., Rattus sp., (HƯƠng Lâm, 1000 m, October 1960)— Tupaia sp., Lâm Đồng, Di Linh (Djiring, 1000 м, October 1960)— Dremomys sp.; Lâm Đồng (Bảo Lộс); Song Trao (?); Lâm Đồng? (HƯƠng Lâm, Di Linh (Djiring)); Khanh Hoa? (Đại Lãnh); Kẻ La (?) (=Kẻ Lám, Nghệ An); Thái Đa, Tam La (?)— Tupaia sp., Dremomys sp., Hylomys sp., Rattus sp., 1 shrew (1000–1550 m) (Traub & Nadchatram 1967; Stekolnikov 2021).

Remarks. Specimens collected in Quang Binh and Thừa Thiên-Huḗ provinces differ from the description of L. alopeciatum (Vercammen-Grandjean & Langston 1976; Stekolnikov 2013) in the arrangement of dorsal setae (8-6- 6-… or 8-4-6-… vs. 6-4-4-…).
