The raw data of the tension induced fracture surface for the prefractured specimens is in this file. The surface can be reconstructed with these data, and the roughness (such as RMS) of the surface can also be calculated

3. High resolution photos after failure for intact granite. rar
4. High resolution photos after failure for prefractured granite
The two files include all the clear photos of the post-failure intact and prefractured specimens

5. Stress and deformation. rar
The raw stress and deformation data for all the intact rock and prefractured granite. Please note these data are raw data and should be corrected to draw the figures and obtain the strength parameters in the manuscript (refer to the word file in this compressed file).

6. Thermal expansion deformation. rar
The thermal deformation and strain for all the intact rock and prefractured rock during heating stage are in this file.
