Description

This document provides a comprehensive exploration and exposition of innovative research within the 6G Brain project.

This deliverable presents two voice enabled systems.

  • The first for intent based networking for industrial automation
  • The second for the control of a flatbed plotter used for measuring the accuracy of localization measurements.

The voice enabled intent-based networking system automates the process of configuring and managing network devices based on high-level business objectives and policies through voice commands.

The voice enabled control of the flat bed plotter automates the process of moving the position of the plotter head on which a sub 6 GHz antenna is mounted to automate under voice control the localization measurement operation.

The integration of virtual voice assistants and intent-based networking (IBN) for industrial scenarios was explored. IBN has presented a promise in automating and simplifying network configuration and maintenance and used voice assistants provided an intuitive and user-friendly interface, enhancing network management with reduced human errors.

The aim of the ‘‘Voice Control of Flatbed Plotter’’ project is to interface the CNC system with a speech recognition system. This was done so the movement of the flatbed plotter can be controlled via voice commands.

The project tasks and objectives were successfully met.
