Read me file for the analysed micropipette data used in the publication: Bursting dynamics of hollow coacervates Folders have the name of the protein: CRY_ADF3_CRY CBM_ADF3_CBM CBM_AQ12_CBM FN_ADF3_FN SC2_ADF3_SC2 Each folder contains the analysed data from the videos as .txt files. The type of data is specified in the name: aspiration, retraction, bursting_radius, curvilinear_coordinate The .txt files contain columns headers with time(s), frame number and distance (um) measured between frames and the total aspiration and retraction length L(t) (um). The diameter of the bursting radius (um) and the bursting radius R (um) are given in files ending with "bursting_radius". The curvilinear coordinate s(t) (um) and time (s) is given in the files ending "curvilinear_coordinate". For clarity the time cound starts at 0 s in all files. Comments: -SC2-ADF3-SC2 dataset 1-10 only the aspiration part was analysed and then the dPc was measured experimentally for further calculations. The slow retraction could not be analysed because of pressure instabilites of the system during these measurements. For the bursting coacervates for SC2-ADF3-SC2 and FN-ADF3-FN the retraction could often not be recorded because the coacervate bursted while aspirating. Thus, also the critical pressure could not be measured experimentally for calculating the surface tension. In these cases the mean surface tension of the non-bursting coacervates of the same protein was used for furhter calculations.
