The MAT-file “InTheMED_WP6_DS_InflowTimeSeriesGreece.mat” contains the following variables: 1) time_observed [1 x 1086]: a datetime array containing the dates referred to the observed inflows data 2) gw_inflows_observed [1086 x 1]: a vector with the values of the groundwater inflows that were used as inputs to the numerical groundwater model. 3) time [1 x 1494]: a datetime array containing the dates referred to the climate projection inflows data 4) gw_inflows_a [1494 x 6]: an array with values of the groundwater inflows for the RCP4.5 scenario. Each column refers to a different Regional Climate Model. 5) gw_inflows_b [1494 x 6]: an array with values of the groundwater inflows for the RCP8.5 scenario. Each column refers to a different Regional Climate Model. The Regional Climate models that each column refers are the following: ------------------------------------------------------ Model Number | Regional Climate Model ------------------------------------------------------ 1 |'CNRM_CERFACS_CNRM_CM5_CCLM4_8_17' ------------------------------------------------------ 4 |'DMI_HIRHAM5_NorESM1-M' ------------------------------------------------------ 8 |'ICHEC_EC_EARTH_HIRHAM5' ------------------------------------------------------ 9 |'IPSL-INERIS_WRF381P_IPSL-CM5A-MR' ------------------------------------------------------ 12 |'KNMI_CNRM-CM5' ------------------------------------------------------ 17 |'MPI_M_MPI_ESM_LR_RCA4' ------------------------------------------------------ The MAT-file “InTheMED_WP6_DS_PumpingRatesGreece.mat” contains the following variables: 1) pumping_wells_latlong [20 x 2]: an array containing the location of the 20 groups of pumping wells that are available in the Tympaki study area. 2) Qcurrent [20 x 2]: an array with the values of the current pumping rates of the 20 wells. 3) QeqD [20 x 2]: an array with the values of the pumping rates defined as equal to the irrigation demand for the 20 wells. 4) Qopt_observed [20 x 2]: an array with the values of the optimum pumping rates based on the observed inflow values. 5) 12 arrays, [20 x 2] each, containing the values of the optimum pumping rates based on the RCP scenario and Regional Climate Model. These variables have the following name format “Qopt_xk”. The value of “x” represents the RCP scenario: “a” is for RCP4.5 and “b” is for RCP8.5. The value of “k” is respectful to the model number that refers to the Regional Climate Model. The first column of each pumping rates array refers to the wet period (November – March) and the second one refers to the dry period (April – October).
