Faunal diversity study of Rabindra Sarobar (Dhakuria Lake), Kolkata, West Bengal, India The faunal diversity Study of Rabindra Sarobar (Dhakuria Lake), Kolkata, West Bengal, India was conducted by Tarak Samanta, Lina Chatterjee, Asim Giri and Nivedita Sengupta on 11th February 2021 and 8th May 2023. The identification and data analysis was done by Nature Mates-Nature Club team. This dataset covers the areas of Rabindra Sarobar (Dhakuria Lake). Habitats are like a large waterbody with surrounding many old tree patches and gardens. All the species are tried to be identified up to the species level. A total of 70 faunal species were recorded belonging to 23 orders, and.40 families.
