Type material. Lectotype (ANS 69142). Type locality. South Australia, Gulf St. Vincent, Troubridge Shoal.

Material examined. Australia, Western Australia, Indian Ocean, 31°71’S, 115°25’E, 94 m. Southern Surveyor stn 50 Lot_28, CSIRO, 1 spm (TMAG, E 45527) BL 13.0 mm, 12.05.2007.

Distribution. Western & South Australia, shallow subtidal up to 94 m (Kaas & Van Belle 1994 and own data.

Remarks. The morphological features of the specimen collected from Western Australia fully corresponds to its description as given by Kaas & Van Belle (1994).
