size of their economies and the distance between them. The article discusses the potential opportunities and challenges for Uzbekistan in its trade with the Middle East, and provides comprehensive and practical suggestions to boost mutual trade with the
Middle East by analysing the Gravity model of trade. The article also examines the role of regional trade agreements, regime of ‘most favored nation’ and common religion in shaping the future of mutual trade between Uzbekistan and the Middle East.
