This Briefing reviews some early estimates used by the Commission of the carbon sequestration potential, and concludes that they are under-estimates by at least an order of magnitude. Two updates deal with reports on options for Carbon Farming in the EU, and with the draft “Framework Regulation for Certification of Carbon Removals” - which is also considered in  Policy Briefing #20.
