Description

This software is a simple framework to compare the computation time of flux-form advection schemes in Fortran.

It is distributed under the GPL v2.0 licence (see the LICENSE file)

transport.F90 is a module containing an implementation of the following advection schemes: Després and Lagoutiere 1999 Van Leer 1977 PPM (Colella 1984) Walcek 2000 PPM+W (Mailler et al 2023)

advbench.F90 uses transport.F90 to give an estimate of the execution time for all the above-listed scheme + the Godunov (1959) scheme in nanoseconds / cell / timestep.
