Code and data for meta-analysis of relationships between marine protected area size and age and fish biodiversity

All data collected and analysed, along with the R code used in a meta-analysis for examining associations between the degree of protection, duration of protection, and protected area size, with fish biodiversity inside of protected areas relative to that of sites nearby, but outside of protected areas. References of all primary studies from which data were extracted are included in 'source_selection.xlsx'.
