Massive mortalities of seabirds
Creators
Description
Annual mass migrations of seabirds between their breeding and wintering grounds are critical for ensuring their survival and reproductive success. It is essential to comprehend the factors affecting their migration patterns and physical condition to facilitate conservation efforts. This study focuses on the mass mortality of two alcid species, the Razorbill (Alca torda) and the Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica), along the Andalusian coast of Spain during the winter season of 2022-23.
