NANOMODIFICATION OF WELD METAL DENDRITE STRUCTURE

The shape of dendrite grains in low-alloy steel submerged-arc weld deposits has been examined; it is found that the dendrite grain morphology can be modified because of dispersed refractory inclusions inoculation in the weld pool.
