Remarks. The records of K.H. Barnard (1937) from the southern Arabian coast and Griffiths (1977) off SouthEast Africa are geographically distant from other observations reported in the literature and may belong to a different species. We have not examined this material and until these specimens are studied in detail, the species attribution remains uncertain.
