The dataset provided here contains 3 files.

1. MFL Data

This file contains the time averaged raw MFL data for each station measured on the Winter 2012 and SANAE 53 cruises.

2. Phytoplankton Specific Absorption

This file contains the phytoplankton specific absorption associated with each station that has been corrected for the blank, volume, and the pathlength amplification factor as detailed in the manuscript.

3. FQY + Metadata

This file contains the associated metadata with each station and the final wavelength-specific Φ(λ).
