Description

Urotrichus pilirostris (True, 1886). Proc. U.S. Natl. Mus., 9:97.

TYPE LOCALITY: Japan, Honshu, Enoshima (Yenosima), at mouth of Bay of Yeddo.

DISTRIBUTION: Montane forests of Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu (Japan).

COMMENTS: Formerly included in Dymecodon; see Corbet (1978c:37).
