Description

Hipposideros cineraceus Blyth, 1853. J. Asiat. Soc. Bengal, 22:410.

TYPE LOCALITY: Pakistan, Punjab, Salt Range, near Pind Dadan Khan.

DISTRIBUTION: Pakistan to Vietnam and Borneo; adjacent small islands; probably the Philippines.

SYNONYMS: durgadasi, micropus, wrighti?.

COMMENTS: Includes durgadasi; but see Khajuria (1982:288). Probably includes wrighti, see Hill and Francis (1984:308).
