EMSAfricaMonitor

The EMSAfrica Monitor is a Google Engine-based (based on JavaScript) app that allows users, whether scientific or non-scientific background, to perform quick land cover analysis with a variety of helpful indices, compositing and additional layers (e.g. display of DMC DSM/DTM in 1 m from Heckel et al. 2021) @kaiheckel. With this app, every person interested is able to explore their area of interest without the hassle of data download and processing procedures. It utilizes a preprocessed Sentinel-2 collection that is starting in 2019 and will be continued in the future.

It can be displayed on any device (smartphone, tablet or computer). Simply click the map, select the feature that interests you the most and take a look at monthly composites and plots of the area.
