Replistruder 5 - Syringe Pump Extruder for 3D Printing

  • 1. Carnegie Mellon University

Description

These are the STL and STP files for the Replistruder 5, a syring-based extruder used to modify a desktop thermoplastic 3D printer into a 3D bioprinter capable of 3D printing hydrogels using a syringe. This design is specifically optimized for Freeform Reversible Embedding of Suspended Hydrogels (FRESH) 3D bioprinting. These files were created by Josh Tashman and Dan Shiwarski in the Regenerative Biomaterials and Therapeutics Group, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA USA. Please contact Prof Adam Feinberg at feinberg@andrew.cmu.edu with any questions.
