ON THE NATURE OF LEAD-ACETATO COMPLEX ION AND THE LEAD ACETATE MOLECULE

 The formation of the cationic complex PbAc⁺ ion has been studied by measurements of the lower­ing of freezing print of the system eutectic KNO₃.H₂O, by mixtures of Pb(NO₃)₂ and KAc solutions.

By the same method it has been shown that the complex PbAc⁺ and Ac^- ions are produced by the primary dissociation of lead acetate molecule in solution.
