Plant-root fungal association network data are collected from root fungal communities of woody plants in a 50-ha subtropcial forest plot, in Heishiding Nature Reserve of Southern China.

Taxonomic information of root fungi, a plant-mycorrhizal fungal association network of 43 plant species and 883 mycorrhizal fungal species, and a plant-pathogenic
fungal association network of 43 plant species and 113 root pathogenic fungi are included. 

In the network matrix, each cell are filled in the mean abundance (sequence reads) of each fungal OTU (species) on each host plant individual after subsampling each sample 
to 3000 sequence reads, with the numbers rounded to the nearest integer.
