The teaching materials include a plan for a mini course with major topics and concepts described and a teaching case for a workshop.

The course is meant for PhD students that are not from the broad field of computer science. The materials are prepared for researchers that have the basic skills to make a scientific study. Explanation of the abstract concepts related to software information systems and databases is used in spite of getting into technical details.
