Description

The paper presents new data on 170 species of terrestrial true bugs found in 67 sites, located in 44 squares of the UTM 10x10 km network, located in 5 zoogeographic regions of south-eastern and north-eastern Poland: in the Bieszczady Mts., in the Eastern Beskids Mts., in the Sandomierz Lowland, in the Upper Silesia and in the Mazurian Lakeland. As a result of the conducted research Ischnodemus sabuleti was first detected in the Bieszczady Mts., Acompocoris alpinus, Eremocoris fenestratus, Nezara viridula and Oncotylus viridiflavus viridiflavus were found for the first time in the region of the Eastern Beskids Mts., Acompocoris alpines, Acompocoris pygmaeus, Acetropis longirostris, Adomerus biguttatus, Closterotomus fulvomaculatus, Chlamydatus pullus, Criocoris crassicornis, Cydnus aterrimus, Halyomorpha halys, Lopus decolor, Nemocoris fallenii, Nysius helvetius, Oncochila scapularis, Oncotylus viridiflavus, Orthocephalus brevis, Orthops kalmii, Phytocoris ulmi, Psallus vittatus, Strongylocoris luridus were found for the first time in the Sandomierz Lowland, while Gonocerus juniperi and Pygolampis bidentata were first detected in the Mazurian Lakeland. Additionally, new data on invasive species: Leptoglossus occidentalis, Halyomorpha halys, Nezara viridula and Oxycarenus lavaterae, and rarely collected species: Nemocoris fallenii, Oncotylus viridiflavus, Psallus vittatus and Eremocoris fenestratus were also provided. The best-studied location was the vicinity of Przemyśl [FA21], where 13 species of true bugs have been collected for the first time: Scolopostethus pictus, Harpocera thoracica, Apolygus spinole, Eremocoris fenestratus, Dichrooscytus rufipennis, Amblytylus nasutus, Compsidolon salicellum, Lygus regulipennsis, Megalocoleus tanaceti, Trigonotylus caelestialium, Heterogaster urticae, Troilus luridus and Nezara viridula. Thus, the number of true bugs species known from this area has increased to 279. Due to the insufficient understanding of the distribution of terrestrial Heteroptera in south-eastern and north–eastern Poland, especially within the East Beskids Mts, Bieszczady Mts. and the Sandomierz Lowland, as well as in the Mazurian Lakeland studies in these areas will be continued.
