FIGS. 27–36: Athyrma female imagines: Figs: 27) ganglio, Venezuela [TLM 6041] 28) ciboney, with dog head reduced to a small "comma", Costa Rica [TLM 5780] 29) ciboney, with dog head reduced to a large "comma", Florida [TLM 5602] 30) tapichensis, Peru [species represented by this unique specimen that had previously had the valves forced apart – see figs. 53 & 54 for a comparison] [TLM 5716] 31) orbana, Bolivia [TLM 6054] 32) itatiaia, Brazil [TLM 5967] 33) nodosa, British Guiana [TLM 5773] 34) nodosa, French Guiana [TLM 5604] 35) tuberosa, French Guiana [TLM 5782] 36) brigittae, Belize [TLM 5767]. 1.0 cm scale line (in fig. 10) is the same for all figures.
