Tetranychus gloveri Banks

Tetranychus gloveri Banks, 1900: 76.

Specimens examined: five females, two males, coll. J. Etienne, Ravine Chaude, Lamentin, Guadeloupe, 3 June 2002, on leaves of Tagetes sp. (Asteraceae); five females, three males, coll. J. Etienne, Capesterre Belle Eau, Guadeloupe, 12 July 2002, on banana leaves, Musa sp. (Musaceae).

This species was recorded previously from several other host plants in Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin and Les Saintes (Flechtmann et al., 1999a).
