Description
Bovicola caprae (Gurlt)
Pickens Co., Six Mile, 8 February 2003, ex Capra hircus, coll. S. Miller. The goatbiting louse is probably distributed across the state. Goats are popular as pets in South Carolina and this chewing louse could infest pets.
