Distribution. Western Atlantic – Bermuda, North Carolina, Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, and Brazil (from Amapá to Rio de Janeiro) (Melo 1996). Central Atlantic – Ascension (Manning & Chace 1990). Ecological notes. On sand, mud, shell, algae, and rock bottoms. From 14 to 125 m (Melo 1996). Previous records in Bahia. A.
