Dorsal shield 245 long, 180 wide; j 1 broken, j 3 28, j 4 19, j 5 broken, j 6 19, J 2 broken, J 5 5, z 2 18, z 3 30, z 4 33, z 5 broken, Z 4 53, Z 5 47, s 4 34, s 6 40, S 5 28, r 3 19, R 1 10; setae smooth, except Z 4 and Z 5, lightly serrate; ventrianal shield subtriangular and reticulate 105 long, 144 wide at the anterior corners, with 5 pairs of preanal setae, 3 pairs of lyrifisures (respectively anterior and about in longitudinal line with JV 1, posterolateral to ZV 1 and between JV 3 and ZV 3), elliptical preanal pores posteromesad to JV 2; sharp-tipped macrosetae; Sge IV 22, Sti IV 20, St IV 40; peritreme extending forward to level of j 3.
Specimens examined. Cajamarca: San Ignacio-Tomaque (5 ° 7 ' 35 " S, 78 ° 58 ' 41 " W), 4 -VIII- 2006, on Capsicum annum (4 Ψ, 1 %).
Previous records. Canada, Cuba, Galapagos, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, USA and Venezuela.
Remarks. The females collected in this study agree with measurements of the holotype given by Chant and Yoshida-Shaul (1983).
