Orchestina yinggezui sp. nov.

Type material: Holotype female (IZCAS Ar 19321), China: Hainan, Baisha, Yinggeling, Yinggezui Protection Station, 797 m a.s.l., 19 °02.884´N, 109 ° 33.529´E, 22 August 2010, leg. G. Zheng.

Etymology: The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.

Diagnosis: The female resembles that of O. justini Saaristo, 2001, but can be distinguished by the shape of the genitalia.

Description: Female. Total length 1.67, carapace length 0.73, carapace width 0.49, abdomen length 0.92. Habitus as in Figs 1 I, J. Color in alcohol: Carapace yellow, legs and palp pale yellow. Cephalothorax: Carapace oval, surface smooth, with net-shaped pattern, pars cephalica slightly elevated in lateral view, with rounded posterolateral corners. Clypeus similar to O. aureola sp. nov.; ALE separated from edge of carapace by their diameter or more; setae present, needle-like. Eyes similar to O. aureola sp. nov. Sternum (Fig. 2 E) longer than wide, with brown patches, without radial furrows between coxae, surface smooth; setae sparse, needle-like, evenly scattered, without hair tufts. Mouthparts: Chelicerae straight, anterior face unmodified; labium rectangular, not fused to sternum, anterior margin not indented at middle; endites (Fig. 2 E) distally not excavated, with serrula. Abdomen ovoid, with gray net-like pattern; pedicel tube short, unmodified, scuto-pedicel region unmodified. Legs without color pattern; femur IV thickened, much larger than femora I–III. Female genitalia: Ventral view (Figs 4 E, 10 A): without special external features, median part of the epigastric furrow with a vaulted, transverse opening, the internal genital structures shining through the integument. Dorsal view (Figs 5 H, 10 B): Medially a large sclerite, the anterior part of which is expanded; posterior to the sclerite a circular sclerite.

Male: Unknown.

Distribution: Known only from Hainan Island.
