Type material. Holotype, female, Brazil: ‘ Ohaus, Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro‘ (ZMPA).

Diagnosis. Similar to F. paranana, differs in body coloration with brown longitudinal stripes in elytral 1 / 3 – 2 / 3 and maxillary palpi brown.

Redescription. Whole body dark brown, only sides of pronotum, outer lateral longitudinal stripes in anterior half of elytra, inner lateral longitudinal stripes in elytral 1 / 5 – 4 / 5, trochanters and bases of femora yellow (Fig. 11). Whole maxillary and labial palpi brown. Eyes medium-sized, distance between eyes 1.6 x longer than maximal eye diameter. Antennomere 3 as long as 4 (Fig. 38). Pronotum 1.7 x wider at base than long medially (Fig. 26). Elytra slender, 3.9 x longer than humeral width, widened posteriorly, each elytron 1.5 x wider in distal third than humeral width. Female genitalia having each coxite provided with a stout mediobasal projection directed obliquely medioproximally (Fig. 74). Body length: 9.7 mm, humeral width: 2.2 mm.

Remark. Holotype with whole left antenna and right antennomeres 6–11 missing. Right elytra damaged.
