Remarks. The species M. guttatus and M. heiseles are considered conspecific based on examination and identification of their type specimens. We propose M. heiseles Kuoh is a junior synonym of M. guttatus (Matsumura) based on the morphological characters of shape, aedeagus and male abdomen.
