Host-plants. Malus domestica Borkh. in the Crimea; in other regions also M. sylvestris Mill.
Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Nemoral; the species occurs from France and Ireland to Finland, the Ural region, Ukraine, and Bulgaria.
Material examined. CRIMEA: 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, empty leaf-mines on Malus domestica Borkh., fieldwork card no. 5030, 14.vii. 2011, leg. A. Remarks. The species is very rare in the Crimea: highly limited in distribution and sporadic.
