Host-plants. Geum spp. in the Crimea; in other regions also Agrimonia eupatoria L., Filipendula vulgaris Moench, Fragaria vesca L., Geum rivale L., G. urbanum L., Potentilla anserina L., and Rubus spp.

Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Nemoral; the species occurs from Italy and Ireland to Finland, Bulgaria and the Crimea.

Material examined. CRIMEA: 1 ♂, Dobroje, Krasnolissya, at light, 11.vii. 1986, leg. A. Zagulajev; 23 km S Simferopol, near Angarskij Pereval, empty leaf-mines on Geum sp., fieldwork card no. 5047, 22.vii. 2011, leg. A. Diškus & A. Navickaitė.

Remarks. The species is rare in the Crimea: limited in distribution (mostly occurs in shady forests) and not abundant.
