Distribution in North China. Rare at medium elevations of the Bashang plateau in northern Hebei, and the Baishuijiang nature reserve in southern Gansu. 2 localities (Fig. 96) between 1557–1992 m (IAB). Distribution in China. Hebei, Sichuan, Gansu, Xinjiang (IAB).
Forage plants. ASTERACEAE: Echinops sphaerocephalus; BUDDLEJACEAE: Buddleja officinalis.
