Eupithecia nobilitata Staudinger, 1882

Eupithecia nobilitata Staudinger, 1882, Stettiner Entomologische Zeitung 43 (1–3): 76. Holotype ♂ (designated by Mironov, 2009; coll. O. Staudinger in MNHU, examined), [Kazakhstan]: Lepsa.

Tephroclystia medionotata Warren, 1899, Novitates zoologicae 6 (1): 40. Syntypes 2♂ (BMNH, examined), [China]: Tibet, Kuku-nor (synonymised in Prout, 1915).

This Central Asian species is known from south eastern Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China (province Qinghai). The male genitalia were described and illustrated by de Laever (1956), and the female genitalia illustrated in Viidalepp & Soljanikov (1977). Mongolia (aimags): Arkhangai, Bayan-Ulgii, Bulgan, Khuvsgul, Tuv, Zavkhan.
