<p>
<b>Description.</b> Vertex and anterior margin of pronotum light tan, with pair of small round shading on sides of coronal suture, apical patch on vertex medium. Face yellow-brownish. Middle part and posterior margin of pronotum, scutum and scutellum tan, basal triangles of mesonotum black. Fore wing brown, transparent, brochosome field blackish.</p> 
<p>Male 2 S abdominal apodemes (Fig. 8 k, l) quite short, extended dorsad, not exceeding 3 rd sternite. Anal tube appendage (Fig. 8 b) cochlea-shaped, hind margin round.</p>
<p>Pygofer side (Fig. 8 a) short, hind margin truncate, with distinct pigmented oblique band medially, with several microsetae at dorso-caudal angle. Subgenital plate (Figs 8 a, d) with irregular rows of microsetae along dorsal outer margin from near base to apex and some along ventral margin, with about 4 macrosetae medially. Style (Figs 8 e, f) with inner protrusion shifted basad, apex curved laterad sharply. Connective (Fig. 8g) with manubrium long and narrow. Aedeagal shaft (Fig. 8 h–j) long and slim, without process, apex T-shaped in caudal view and with dorsal margin slightly serrated; preatrial process slim, only broadened basally, remaining part even in thickness, curved dorsad, apex twisted.</p>

<b>Material examined.</b> Holotype: ♂, Thailand, Phitsanulok, Thung Salaeng Luang NP, Mixed deciduous forest, 16 ° 50.699 'N, 100 ° 51.266 'E, 501m, 25 ix– 2 x 2006, Malaise trap, coll. Pongpitak Pranee. <b>Deposition.</b> QSBG, Chiang Mai, Thailand.</p>

<b>Remarks.</b> The new species is similar to <i>S. shivae</i> Dworakowska, but the anal tube appendage is shorter and not pointed ventro-caudally, the style has the inner protrusion shifted basad and the apex curved laterad sharply, the manubrium of the connective is longer and narrower, and the aedeagal shaft has the lateral margins smooth. <b>Etymology.</b> The specific name is derived from the Latin word “ <i>falcatus</i> ”, referring to the hooked apical part of style.</p>
