Material examined. None.
Diagnosis. Female and subadult male. Carapace without ridges, anterolateral angle not serrate. Pseudorostrum blunt. Eyelobe without lenses. Antennule peduncle of 3 articles. Uropod peduncles shorter than pleonites 5–6 together, rami subequal. Adult male. Antenna extending at least to posterior border of telson. Telson with pair of slender subterminal setae.
Remarks. The most similar species are Colurostylis castlepointensis and C. longicauda. Colurostylis pseudocuma can be distinguished from both C. castlepointensis and C. longicauda by the uropod rami, subequal in C. pseudocuma but with the exopod longer than the endopod in both C. castlepointensis and C. longicauda.
