Apanteles emarginatus (Nees, 1834)

Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Ghahari et al. 2009 a).

Distribution outside Iran. Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, former Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK (Yu et al. 2012), Iceland, Spain (Shenefelt 1972).

Host records. Shenefelt (1972) reported from Boarmia gemmaria, Cnaemidophorus rhododactylis and Caloptilia elongella. In England, it was bred from the following Tineidae: Agonopterix arenella, A. alstroemeriana, A. atomella, A. heracleana, A. propinquella, Depressaria chaerophylli, D. daucella, Cnephasia chrysantheana (Nixon 1972; Yu et al. 2012). In Italy, it has been reported from Acleris forsskaleana and Sophronia grandii (Nixon 1972; Yu et al. 2012). Also, it has been recorded from Aethes dilucidana, A. carduella, A. nervosa, A. subpropinquella, Aleimma loeflingiana, Anacampsis timidella, Anarsia lineatella, Ancylis laetana, Archips xylosteana, Caloptilia cuculipennella, C. fribergensis, C. rufipennella, Choristoneura diversana, Chloroclysta siterata, C. stephensiana, Cydia pomonella, Depressaria pastinacella, Dichelia histrionana, Epinotia caprana, Galleria mellonella, Plutella xylostella, Pteleobius vittatus, Ptycholomoides aeriferanus, Tortrix viridana, Vanessa cardui, Yponomeura evonymella, Zeiraphera isertana by Yu et al. (2012).
