Chrysanthrax Osten Sacken, 1886 b: 113 (as subgenus of Anthrax Scopoli), 121 (as “group” of Anthrax Scopoli). Type species: Anthrax fulvohirta Wiedemann, 1821 [= Anthrax cypris Meigen, 1820], by mon. [See Evenhuis (1991: 27) for clarification of type fixation of this genus.]
