Oophagomyia plotnikovi Rohdendorf, 1928: 16. Type locality: Kazakhstan, Kzyl-Orda Region, nr banks of Syrdarya. References: Rohdendorf (1928: 16, descriptions of male and female); Verves (1982: 294 –295, description, figs 261a: male cerci and surstyli, b–c: male terminalia; 262: female terminalia); Verves (1986: 117, catalog); Fan & Pape (1996: 244, checklist); Pape (1996: 166, catalog).
Chinese specimens examined. None.
Distribution. CHINA: Neimenggu (no further data); Palaearctic Region.
Remarks. Verves (1986) listed this species from Neimenggu, and the record was accepted by Fan & Pape (1996) without mentioning if any material was examined. We consider the record as reliable.
