Constantly updated list of all quasars known at z>5.7: The constantly-updated list is hosted at http://www.sarahbosman.co.uk/list_of_all_quasars.htm . The online list will be continuously updated. Please cite this d.o.i. if the list was useful to you. List criteria: A quasar appears on this list when the Lyman-alpha emission line spectrum has been made "public". Broad-band drop-outs and X-ray sources are not sufficient for redshift confirmation. An "unpublished_flag" == 0 signifies the Lyman-alpha spectrum is available to view in a publication that's been submitted to an astronomy journal. An "unpublished_flag" == 1 signifies this is not the case. The data can still be "public" however, for example: - spectrum shown at a conference and/or available on internet (talk slides/social media) - spectrum in a public telescope archive In addition, a spectrum may have been used in a way which explicitly requires the use of a Lyman-alpha line spectrum, even when it is not shown publicly (this is the only exception to the criterion): - used as part of larger sample in peer-reviewed publication - used as part of accepted, but private, telescope proposals Machine-readable format: Delimited by " , " Redshifts: Are not always up-to-date, as they become more accurate when follow-up observations are made. I try to update the list when this happens, but the latest accuracy is not guaranteed. Please email me at: s.bosman@ucl.ac.uk if you believe I've missed quasars from this list or you spot out-of-date redshifts. ------------------------ Sarah Bosman 03/02/2020
