Type Locality: Bangladesh: Sylhet (HT ♀); BMNH.

Glenea (Rubroglenea) rubricollis Breuning, 1956f: 7, 109, pl. I, fig. 7 (comb. n.); Breuning, 1966a: 678 (Cat.); Rondon & Breuning, 1970: 527 (Fauna).

Glenea rubricollis Hua, 1987: 95 (Distr.); Hua,2002: 210 (Cat.); Lin et al., 2009c: 14, figs 31 (♀), 32 (♂), 33a–c, 34–36 (Distr.).

Distribution: India (Assam; Sikkim), Bangladesh: Silhet, China: Guangdong, Hainan; Laos & Vietnam.

Glenea (Stiroglenea) Aurivillius, 1920: 391 (type sp.: Lamia cantor Fabricius, 1787).
