For a market leader in the Financial Services Industry, we are looking for Regulatory Reporting & Data Steward. Within the Finance department, the Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for all prudential regulatory reporting (e.g. CoRep, FinRep, SE) to the supervisor (ECB). Amsterdam based office.
Description
Together with the team you will perform reports to ECB and assists the group in decisions that are affected and/or driven by prudential regulations. In order to meet this goal the team collects data, defines and maintains the data lineage and reporting systems, develops prudential requirement policies & calculation methods, and share insights in development of key ratios (e.g. capital ratios, LCR, LR) within the group.
Key expertise areas

Prepare and analyse business requirements for data needed for new or changing regulatory reporting: analysing the data requirements for the FinRep or CoRep, define the gaps in data and process to be addressed and help defining actions to ensure data gaps are closed and reporting can be performed in line with requirements

Implementation and testing of IT, process and reporting changes: detailed business analyses of a specific business requirement, create and maintain functional design documentation, create mapping or report specifications, create test scenarios for user acceptance testing, help IT development teams to specify what needs to be developed, test if the new inputs coming from the newly build data warehouse meet the requirements, analyse new or changed data sets

Cooperate with other (Finance) teams to align data acquisition, consumption and create harmonised data sets for internal and external purposes, for example: design way of workings / data processes for reporting that are aligned between Finance teams, discuss data issues with other data stewards within Finance or other teams (e.g. promoting data governance)

Define requirements for data quality, analyse data sets and follow-up in proposing remedial actions to improve data sets used in reporting.
Education and Skills:

Master's degree or equivalent skill set

Minimum of 4-6 years relevant work experience in a reporting, data analyst or controlling role within an international financial services company or big-4 firm

Proven experience with requirements setting, large data sets and reporting thereof

Experience with relevant regulatory reporting (e.g. CoRep, FinRep, LCR) and/or requirements is considered a strong plus

Experience in (large) IT / data projects, change management and agile / scrum way of working

Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and data analyses skills (e.g. SQL, PowerBi)
