Note. The holotype of A. solitaria was examined and, confirming the information presented by Beatty (1970: 482), it is an immature specimen. This is the only known specimen of Ariadna collected in this locality, and although its resemblance with A. arthuri, the macrosetae pattern of the legs I‒II is different. Until other Ariadna specimens from the type locality could be collected, we here decide to position this species as nomem dubium.
