Description

Psammodesmus moyobambus (Chamberlin, 1941)

Ernostyx moyobambus Chamberlin, 1941: 498, figs 188–192.

Psammodesmus moyobambus: Hoffman 1953b: 301, fig. 5 (combination; descriptive notes and gonopod figure); Martínez- Torres 2016: 49 (considered as species inquirenda).

Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Moyobamba, Balsapuerto Trail; XII-1925. Originally deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9494 (Chamberlin 1941), it is currently lost (Martínez-Torres 2016).

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
