Published data. Iran (Сhandler et al. 2008, as Cordicollis, checklist).
Comments. No exact locality information from Iran is available for this species. Possible misidentification of Anthicus velatus Marseul, 1879.
Chorotype. NE African—Sindian (5.11 NAS), also Kenya and Libya.
