Campylonotus rathbunae Schmitt, 1926

Known from southern Australia and New Zealand (Schmitt 1926; Webber et al., 1990, Poore 2004), extending into the sub-Antarctic AOI: Campbell Plateau and between the Antipodes and Bounty Islands; benthic, 270–810 m. The New Zealand specimen illustrated by Webber et al. (1990) has shorter posterodorsal teeth on pleonites 4–5 than Australian specimens illustrated by Schmitt (1926) and Poore (2004), hinting at the possibility of cryptic species.
